About

Ms. Adventures in Baking has been created to document an exercise in near lunacy: to bake one cookie recipe every day for the entire month of March, 2010. March of the Cookies as it has been affectionately dubbed, is designed to practice my cookie-making skills while getting acquainted with new recipes from around the world.

I intend, however, to continue blogging regulary after March of the Cookies is over, not only discussing what I've baked and providing recipes, but to issue myself new challenges to further my skills. Basically, I'm starting off this blog with a rather large project, then I'll keep updating as I bake, and plan to give myself more projects as time goes on.

About me?

I'm a 29 year old working girl based out of Toronto, ON. I'm taking part-time professional baking courses at George Brown College in the evenings, though I'm currently on a short hiatus until I can afford more courses (I've been prioritizing travel lately). I bake whenever I can, travel when I can afford it, and snuggle kitties whenever they're around. I live with my manfella Jeremy, and volunteer with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Toronto. I can fit my whole fist in my mouth, which is handy when said fist is covered in cookie dough. NOM NOM NOM!

Speaking of nom, this bunny has the right idea:

Anyway...welcome, enjoy, and bon appétit!

Vegetables are a must on a diet. I suggest carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie.
